To honor the legacy of Jill’s character as a loving friend and leader among her peers, a main purpose of The Gillian Sabet Memorial Foundation is to provide financial assistance to deserving underprivileged students. Award winners are selected based on personal character, the demonstration of strong leadership and communication skills, as well as commitment to community service and evidence of genuine concern for others. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA upon high school graduation.

Scholarship Award Winners

Andres Villalobos

Andres graduated from JSerra Catholic High School this past May. He will be attending John Paul the Great University in San Diego. Andres was selected based on his demonstration of outstanding community service and leadership among his peers.

Dustin Himmerich

Dustin is also a graduate of JSerra Catholic High School and is attending Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Dustin was selected for his outstanding academic achievements and his commitment to helping others through a career in medicine.
